HISTORY OF CARRINGTON VIEW
The Carrington View Stud was reborn in 2008. After a few years of owning a handful of animals we were hooked on these beautiful creatures & decided to purchase a property & begin a working stud.
Originally chosen for their foraging, weed clearing abilities & not requiring shearing, they stole our hearts with their nature, personalities, intelligence & stoic constitution.
Carrington View Boer Goats pride ourselves in selectively producing elite quality full blood Boer Goats that can also excel in the Commercial world.
We began by selecting animals from well known bloodlines which we believed would combine to create outstanding animals, both in the show ring, but retaining the qualities needed for the Commercial growers as well.
OUR AIM
Our aim is to breed high quality full blood boer goats that can stand proud in the show ring whilst remaining Commercially relevant.
Focusing on structure & meat carrying capacity, without forgetting the basics of good hoofs, horns & natures.
Being a large & proud animal, temperament is an important consideration. Many of our foundation stock trace back to a buck called "Gentleman", who passes his name - in temperament through his progeny.

Many of our stock have been Classified on a yearly basis by independent South African & Australian Inspectors. We find this a great tool for checking our progress. As well as offering purchasers extra peace of mind of the quality they have chosen.
